I found a few real nuggets of wisdom in this rather short, 120 page, book. I imagine this book may be difficult to find as it was written in 1983 and not currently in print (as far as I know), yet there are some interesting and unique perspectives in this book. For example the authors do a great job of using a metaphor for spiritual development in “the continent of human games.” One starts at the tip of the continent with the “caves of pain”, and then one journeys and may encounter “the forests of fear”, “the marsh of resistance”, and once over “the river of blame” we find “the field of rewards.” I can’t do the chapter justice here, nor the rest of the book for that matter, but I have yet to see anything similar to this book on the market. To make the search easier, the ISBN is 0-935616-05-5 and it was published by Reunion Press in California. If you can find it, I would suggest getting a copy.
